Second Week of AtAP

I think that my website progress went really well this week. Since we do not have a specific thing to add to the website every week I have decided to do weekly “updates” or blurbs about current events involving the Black Lives Matter movement in sports and what decisions are being made. This week I did my blurb about how the NBA has  recently decided to take the words “Black Lives Matter” off the court for next season. For situations at as big of a scale as this, everyone has different opinions and not everyone agrees with each other. I made sure to do my research and look at both sides of the situation before deciding my opinion on the situation. I think that doing a weekly blurb will help my project come together nicely and make each week be focused and not be coming up with random stuff to add each week. I think that this is a tremendous step for me in my organization of my final project website and will help alleviate the stress of figuring out what to add each week. I also am glad that I got to see other peoples websites so now I know what mine should look like at the base level.

    Hey Sam, I'm happy that you think your website's progress is doing well. It's good that you're researching your topics and using information from both sides, before coming to any conclusions. I agree that having an organized outline will really help you in the long run by alleviating stress and giving you something to add each week. I can’t wait to see more progress on your blog and hope your approach to this project works out.

    Hello Sam, it's good to hear that you are happy with your progress this week. I think writing a weekly update is a nice idea, and will also make connecting the pieces you write about to the present day much easier. I agree that seeing what everyone else has made so far for their website has been really helpful, and given me an idea of how far along I need to be as well.

    Hey Sam, its nice to here the website is going good. I like how your starting to try out weekly blurbs. I also use other people's websites as a "template". I saw something about the NBA and Black Lives Matter thing when I was scrolling through Facebook. I'm interested to see how the rest of your website will come out.

Week 4 AtAP Update

I think that I am at a good starting stage for my project so far. After reading the description for this week's check in, I would like to do the project individually. I think this will be easier for me because of how the class is online rather than in person. I am interested to see the template you will post next week as far as planning out how to space out the project evenly, but I think that will come over time. I am also not too worried about how I am going to present my project yet because I think it is a little too early to decide that right now.
